Eligibility Criteria

Qualification

Aspirants must have a certificate/ degree of 10th, 12th, Graduate in relevant discipline or must have an equivalent qualification from a recognized institute/ Board to submit application form for CRPF employment notice 2021.

Age Limit

  • Maximum age limit for Sub-Inspector: 30 Years
  • Age limit for Assistant Sub-Inspector: 20 Years to 25 Years
  • Age limit for Head Constable: 18 Years to 25 Years
  • Age limit for Head Constable (Junior X-ray Assistant/ Laboratory Assistant/ Electrician): 2 Years0 to 25 Years
  • Age limit for Head Constable (Steward) and Constable: 18 Years to 23 Years

Nationality/ Citizenship

A candidate must be either:

  • A citizen of India, or
  • a subject of Nepal, or
  • a subject of Bhutan, or
  • a Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India.

  • Male candidates belonging to the Unreserved/ EWS/ OBC category: Rs.200/- (Group ‘B’) & Rs.100/- (Group ‘C’).

  • Candidates who have to pay the application fee in favor of DIGP, Group Centre, CRPF, Bhopal payable at SBI-Bangrasia

CRPF Selection Process & Exam Pattern

CRPF recruitment whole process will be undergoing with 3 stages that are

Stage-1
  1. Physical Standard Test (PST)
    Document required at the time of PST
    a) Caste/Category certificate where applicable.
    b) Education Certificate
    c) Age/Date of Birth
    d) Discharge Certificate & Experience Certificate in the relevant trade for Ex-servicemen.
    e) NOC in case of persons serving in Govt departments from their Head of office.
    f) EWS certificate.
  2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
Stage-2 Written examination:

  • There will be only one Paper containing 100 questions
  • Each question carrying 01 marks (Total – 100 Marks)
  • 02 Hours time duration in two parts.

PART-A (50 Marks)
a) General Intelligence and Reasoning 10 Question of 01 marks each.
b) General Awareness 10 Question of 01 marks each.
c) Numerical aptitude – 15 Questions of 01 marks each.
d) English/Hindi comprehension 15 Questions of 01 mark each
(Optional as per medium English or Hindi)
Note: Standard of written test will be equivalent to the Graduate level except for the ranks of CT and HC. Their level of exam will be Class X and XII respectively.

PART-B (50 Questions of 01 mark each )

  • Questions will be of the concerned profession of the trade. The level of questions will be at par with the eligibility criteria required for particular trade and rank.

The minimum cut off percentage for qualifying the written examination for all the posts will be as under:

FOR THE POSTS OF Inspector, SI, ASI & HC
a) Unreserved/EWS/Ex-servicemen: 50% of total marks.
b) SC/ST/OBC candidates: 45% of total marks.
FOR THE POST OF Constable
a) Unreserved/EWS/Ex-servicemen: 45% of total marks.
b) SC/ST/OBC candidates: 40% of total marks.
Questions will be of Multiple Choice Type. Questions will be set in bilingual (Hindi and English).
Stage-3 Trade Test and Screening of Documents

  • It is mandatory to qualify in the written examination as well as in the trade test separately.
  • Any candidate declared not qualified in the trade test will not be eligible for further recruitment process irrespective of his/her marks obtained in the written test.
  • The trade test will be of 20 marks and of qualifying in nature.

i) Practical test in concerned trade including handling of tools/ equipment – 10 marks
ii) Knowledge about tools/equipment – 5 marks
iii) Experience – 5 marks
a) Work experience of five years in respective trade – 5 marks
b) Work experience four years in respective trade – 4 marks
c) Work experience three years in respective trade – 3 marks
d) Work experience two years in respective trade – 2 marks
e) Work experience at least one year in respective trade – 1 mark

How to apply

  1. To apply online for CRPF Bharti 2021 – Download Offline Form
  2. The duly filled application form with photocopies of all relevant documents, 02 latest passport size
    photographs.
  3. Envelopes mentioning the correspondence address of the applicant with requisite stamps
    should be mailed/deposited.
  4. The application will be rejected in case of non-receipt of photographs.
  5. The name of the examination i.e. “Central Reserve Police Force Paramedical Staff Examination 2021” should be written on the top of the envelope before sending it to the following address.

Admission to the examination:
The Admit Cards for CRPF Constable, SI & Others will be dispatched by Post. If any candidate does not receive a CRPF admit card for the examination he/she must immediately contact the helpline. Failure to do so will deprive him/her of any claim for consideration.
